not alive

everybody's hesitating
and i
i just cant understand, why everyone's so clearly stated
themselves against the wallpaper
loose letters on the dust-marks, markations in the sand
dents on the grey, these
people in my life
slow fading, through the haze of everyday and inbetween, my catchings
rip apart the seams of
seeming connections as
heavy in my pocket lies, this weight of every other life
the strain of passing instance without a jerking on the web
they leave their absences on
sweat-soaked withins, trembling with wait
still
still they hesitate...

tremblings

dum loquimur, fugerit invida aetas

To search forever, we never find.
And yet, when given, we decline
Not knowing what moments we have missed
With every brazen smile or fist
Or blink, for all has come and past
And when we come to mind at last
And realize what fools, what fools we’ve been
To let slip our every silent dream
Our yearnings, from our trembling grasp,
Those sights that none have ever seen
We'll raise our voices, to shout ‘Carpe
diem!’ we’ll ope’ our eyes and seize the day.
